Port Authority Hit With Delays, Overcrowding During Storm
People were packed into the Midtown bus terminal during Thursday night's commute. Bus passes were honored on ferries and rail lines.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan was an overcrowded mess Thursday night, as a snowstorm that hit New York City on Thursday caused NJ Transit bus delays.
Transit officials warned commuters to avoid the transit hub entirely. NJ Transit rail lines and New York Waterways ferries honored NJ Transit bus tickets for the Thursday night commute, transit officials said.
Commuters who were unlucky enough to attempt taking the bus home described the terminal as having "no place to stand."
