Security Guard Killed By Falling Glass Panel In Midtown: NYPD
Police say construction workers were in the process of moving the panel when it fell.

MIDTOWN, MANHATTAN — A security guard died after a large glass panel being moved by construction workers fell on him Saturday morning, the NYPD said.
Police responded to a 911 call at a construction site at 217 W 57th Street around 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The security guard, 67, was found unconscious and unresponsive with severe body trauma and a 27-year-old construction worker was found with non-life threatening injuries.
The security guard was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The second victim is in stable condition, police said.
The security guard was identified as Bronx resident Harry Ramnauth. The investigation is ongoing.
