Trump Tower To Serve As 2020 Reelection Headquarters: Report
Activity at Trump Tower may pick up for the 2020 presidential campaign. The skyscraper will be one of three Trump campaign headquarters.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The area of Midtown Manhattan near Trump Tower will once again see hightened political activity as the Fifth Avenue skyscraper figures to be a central focus of Donald Trump's reelection campaign, according to reports.
The tower, located on Fifth Avenue between East 57th and 56th streets, will serve as one of three campaign headquarters for Trump's attempt to win a second term, Politico first reported. The other headquarters will be located in the Republican National Committee building in Washington D.C. and in Rosslyn, Virginia, according to the report.
Senior campaign members such as campaign manager Brad Parscale have already begun working out of the Rosslyn office, Politico reported. Trump Tower will likely act as a base of operations for campaign surrogates due to its proximity to cable news stations in New York, according to the report.

The amount of activity should not approach that of Trump's transition, which saw prospective administration hires, celebrities and Trump allies cycling in and out of the Midtown skyscraper on a daily basis. During the transition, neighboring business complained that the level of security needed at Trump Tower was bad for the surrounding area.
Trump moved out of his Midtown penthouse after his inauguration in January 2017 — later joined by first lady Melania Trump and son Barron after the end of the school year — but takes up residence at the tower while staying in New York City.
