Woman Swipes 4 Watches, Cash From Hell's Kitchen Apartment: NYPD

The resident of the apartment was not harmed during the theft.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY The NYPD is trying to identify a woman who swiped watches and a large amount of cash from a man's Hell's Kitchen apartment, police said.

The woman was inside a 25-year-old man's West 53 Street and Ninth Avenue apartment during the early morning hours of Dec. 13 when she grabbed several of his belongings and slipped out of the home, police said. The thief's haul totaled four watches of unknown value and $1,200 in cash, police said.

Police recently released a photo of the suspect exiting an elevator in the apartment building. She is described as being in her mid 20s with black hair, brown eyes and a medium build and was last seen wearing a long black coat and high heels.

The apartment resident was not harmed during the theft, police said.
