$80.4M Miller Place School District Budget Sails Through

John Galligan and Lisa Reitan were elected to the Board of Education.

MILLER PLACE, NY — Miller Place School District voters approved an $80.4 million spending plan with an increase of 3.47 percent and a 2.34 percent tax levy on Tuesday, according to the district's website.

The measure passed 837 to 291 votes.

Proposition Two concerning the library passed 981 to 247.

John Galligan and Lisa Reitan were elected with 877 and 660 votes, respectively. Jenna Stingo garnered 495 votes, and other candidates 13.
