Lottery Opens For New Affordable, Waterfront Apartments In Westchester
The rents will range from $999 for a one-bedroom apartment to $2,511 for a two-bedroom for those who meet household income requirements.

YONKERS, NY — A new chance for renters to combat the ongoing affordable housing crisis is here for a lucky few.
Westchester Residential Opportunities announced that there are lottery chances for 121 affordable rentals at Point & Ravine Apartments (76 Point Street) in Yonkers now open and applications are being accepted from those who qualify.
The newly constructed, pet-friendly, green building includes amenities such as a gym, a community room, an outdoor landscaped roof, and on-site parking.

The rentals are available to those with 40-80 percent of the area average monthly household income.
Monthly rental prices for the affordable units available, based on Area Median Income (AMI) are:

- Studio: $1,429 (60 percent AMI)
- One-bedroom: $999 (40 percent AMI), $1,274 (50 percent AMI), $1550 (60 percent AMI), $2101 (80 percent AMI)
- Two-bedroom: $1,189 (40 percent AMI), $1,472-$1519 (50 percent AMI), $1803-1850 (60 percent AMI), $2464-$2511 (80 percent AMI)
Priority admissions include 44 units for households with at least one individual 55 or older, 9 mobility disability units and 5 hearing/vision disability units.
The deadline for applications is October 19, 2023, at 4 p.m. The lottery will be held via Zoom on November 2, 2023, at 11 a.m.
