Take Home A Piece Of Christmas History From Where It Was Created At 3rd Annual Holiday Décor Sample Sale
American Christmas, the company behind most of Manhattan's most famous Christmas displays, opens its warehouse to the public once a year.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — Your chance to actually bring home the dazzling light displays, glistening decorations and sparkling Christmas ornaments that wow the crowds in Manhattan is here — but you had better hurry because the elves responsible for the holiday magic only open their Westchester workshop once a year.
American Christmas, the company that designs and installs most of Manhattan's most famous displays for Christmas, will open its warehouse to the public from Dec. 11 - Dec. 13, for its Third Annual Holiday Décor Sample Sale.

The public is invited to visit their warehouse, located at 30 Warren Place in Mt. Vernon, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the 11th and 12th, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 13th, to view and purchase holiday décor from some of the most famous holiday displays in and around Manhattan in years past.
There are decorations from iconic NYC television studios to some of the largest landmarks and retailers in New York City, as well as many one-off pieces never used.

Available items include commercial Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths, greenery, fiberglass figure/props such as life-size nutcrackers, reindeer, and sleighs, oversized ornaments, and specialty lighted décor.
"After two incredibly successful years, we're excited to welcome the public back for our third annual Holiday Décor Sample Sale," American Christmas CEO Dan Casterella said. "This event has become a favorite tradition for our team and the community. It's a rare chance to bring home a piece of the magic that has illuminated some of New York City's most beloved holiday displays. Each item tells a story and adds true festive spirit to any home or business."

There will also be open box items sold at 80 percent off wholesale pricing, according to the company. In addition, American Christmas is bringing back the popular "Fill a Bag of Ornaments" where shoppers can fill a bag with ornaments, florals, and decorative items for $50.
All sales are final and there are no exchanges or refunds. Credit cards and cash will be accepted, and there is free one-hour street parking in front of the building.

While you are there, check out this year's "Holiday Experience." Expanded from 1,000 to 12,000 square feet, the immersive holiday destination with "18-foot ceilings adorned with dazzling decor" offers visitors the chance to take amazing holiday photos as well as shop for holiday decorations, with 10 percent of all sales supporting the same three local organizations as before: the Mount Vernon Boys & Girls Club, the Northeast STEM Starter Academy of Mt. Vernon, and the Youth Community Outreach Program of Mount Vernon.
