Mount Vernon Residents Are Berkeley College Grads
More than a dozen Mount Vernon residents were among the 800 students graduating from Berkeley College this year.

More than a dozen Mount Vernon residents received degrees from Berkeley College this year:
- Alicia Blackmore received an AAS in business administration - management
- Luisa Cerqua recevied a BS in justice studies - criminal justice
- Damion Cunningham received a BBA in management
- Janet Eaton received a BS in justice studies - criminal justice
- Hackeem Flemings received a BBA in accounting
- Nelson Gallardo received a BBA in management
- Sunane Johnson received a BBA in health services management
- Natalia McHayle received a BBA in management
- Danilo McLeish received an AAS in justice studies - criminal justice and a BS in justice studies - criminal justice
- Shanina Mitchell received a BS in justice studies - criminal justice
- Kayla Ortiz received a BS in justice studies - criminal justice
- Roberto Rivera received a BBA in management
- Raquel Sabino received a BBA in management
- Avril Senderson received a BBA in business administration
- Julian Smith received a BBA in health services management
- Shaquilla Williams received an AAS in health services administration - medical insurance, billing and coding.
Diplomas were handed out on April 29, 2016, at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The graduating class included 140 military and veteran students and 200 international students. More than 800 students graduated with honors and nearly 400 students earned their degrees online.
