Jenkinson, police said, was carrying items that matched items taken in the Albacon Road break-in. Jenkinson was arrested at his home and taken to Clarkstown Police Headquarters in New City.
Police said the investigation is continuing and items recovered are being reviewed to determine connections to specific break-ins.
