2 Accused In Rash Of Thefts From Vehicles In Ramapo, Airmont

Both are in the Rockland County Jail.

RAMAPO, NY — Two Spring Valley men face charges following investigation of larcenies from vehicles in August.

Dainell Blacknall, 33, was charged Monday with 5 counts of Grand Larceny 4th degree, 25 counts of Petit Larceny, 6 counts of Conspiracy 5th degree, 20 counts of Conspiracy 6th degree and 4 counts of Criminal Mischief 4th degree, Ramapo police said.

He was being held in Rockland County Jail from an unrelated arrest.

He will be arraigned in the Town of Ramapo and Village of Airmont Justice Courts on future court dates regarding the recent RPD arrests.

Daeshawn Outerbridge, 26, was arrested Aug. 31 by Ramapo detectives as a result of the investigation.

The incidents occurred in the Village of Airmont and Town of Ramapo.

He was charged with 6 counts of Grand Larceny 4th degree, 25 counts of Petit Larceny, 7 counts of Conspiracy 5th degree, 20 counts of Conspiracy 6th degree and 3 counts of Criminal Mischief 4th degree. He was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Straus. Bail was set and he was remanded to the Rockland County Jail, police said.

It should be noted that a criminal complaint is merely an accusation and that a defendant
is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
