Nyack Holiday Lights Celebration
When: Friday, December 5, 2025 | 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Where: Main Street Gazebo, Nyack, NY
Just a short drive from Nanuet, this annual celebration hosted by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce is a great way to kick off the holiday season. The event features performances by the Rockland Ukulele Orchestra and Bossy Frog Band, plus a visit from Santa.

TaSH Holiday Market
When: Saturday, December 6, 2025 | 2:00 – 6:00 PM
Where: Patriots Park, Broadway, Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow, NY
The TaSH Farmers Market in nearby Sleepy Hollow boasts 75+ vendors offering crafts, gifts and seasonal treats. On the first Saturday of December, it transforms into a holiday market, complete with a tree lighting ceremony.

Nanuet Holiday Tree Lighting
When: Saturday, December 6, 2025 | 5:30 PM
Where: East Orchard Street, Nanuet, NY
Join the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association for the annual tree lighting celebration. The evening includes performances by the Nanuet Concert Choir and Orchestra, Coupe' Dance Studio and the Hellen Hayes Theatre Group, plus food trucks and hot cocoa. Santa arrives at 6:30 PM before the tree is lit at 7 PM.

New Rochelle Holiday Market
When: November 28 – December 14, 2025 | Daily
Where: New Roc City, 29 LeCount Place, New Rochelle, NY
This winter village market features artisan vendors, festive food and entertainment for all ages (vendor and live performance information TBA). Hosted by the City of New Rochelle, the market runs daily for over two weeks, offering a convenient holiday shopping destination.

Festival of Lights Hanukkah Celebration
When: Sunday, December 21, 2025 | 3:00 – 6:00 PM
Where: The Shops at Nanuet, 5101 Fashion Drive, Nanuet, NY
Celebrate Hanukkah here in Nanuet with live music, menorah lighting, crafts and festive treats. Highlights include a glowing photo wall, themed photo booth and family-friendly performances. This event is free and open to the community.

Orchard of Lights at Demarest Farms

Where: Demarest Farms, 244 Wierimus Road, Hillsdale, NJ
Just across state lines, drive through 32 acres of sparkling displays, tune into festive music and stop by the farm market for cocoa and treats. Visitors can enjoy fire pits, s’mores and photos with Santa. Reservations are required, with one ticket covering one vehicle.

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Light Show

Where: Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, NY
Just a short ride from Nanuet, this 1.2‑mile drive-through in Valhalla features dazzling tunnels, dancing trees and synchronized holiday music. Guests can see Westchester’s “best Santa” and enjoy themed displays from the comfort of their car. Tickets are required, with peak and off‑peak pricing per vehicle.

Let It Glow! Holiday Lantern Spectacular
When: Thursday–Sunday evenings through January 11, 2026 | 4–8 PM Thursdays and Sundays, 4–9 PM Fridays and Saturdays
Where: Bergen County Zoo, 216 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ
Take the parkway south to the Bergen County Zoo, where you can walk through more than 40 larger‑than‑life lanterns that transform the zoo into a glowing wonderland. Tickets include a festive train ride, with fire pits and s’mores kits available. The event runs throughout December, with special hours on December 23, 24 and 31; tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
