Today's opportunity is volunteering to knit or crochet baby hats for the New York Milk Bank.
The New York Milk Bank is in need of donations of crocheted or knitted baby hats in a range of colors and patterns that will fit babies from newborn sizes to six months old. The New York Milk Bank distributes these hats to families in neonatal intensive care units (NICU), to local families in need, and to its community partners who serve families across New York State. So long as volunteers can provide the yarn and handiwork, the New York Milk Bank will provide a USPS shipping label for knitters and crocheters to send their finished hats! Express interest below to get started.
