The Nanuet Civic Association will give its recommendations for possible rezoning at its monthly meeting Thursday. In April, Clarkstown planning officials and consultants held two community meetings in Nanuet to discuss the town’s comprehensive plan possible rezoning for sections of the hamlet.
The presentations and workshops focused on the hamlet center including the train station and Route 59.
The association will present its ideas at the 7:15 p.m. meeting at the Nanuet Library. The civic association’s email to its members notes, “Zoning affects everything from property and school taxes to home values.”
