Dead Man Found On Spring Valley Street After Medical Emergency Call

Village police are asking for the public's help.

SPRING VALLEY, NY — Spring Valley police were called to North Myrtle Avenue at 1:10 a.m. Thursday for a medical emergency with someone doing CPR on an unknown person.

Officers arrived and found the caller and a dead man on Johnson Street next to 55 N. Myrtle Avenue.

Spring Valley police, New York state troopers, and Rockland County Sheriff's Office all responded to the scene, according to News 12 Hudson Valley. A blue tent was set up to conceal the body.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. Department officials are asking anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious in that area around that time to please call the Spring Valley Police Department at 845-356-7400.
