Eat Out And Benefit The Ambulance Youth Corps
The Nanuet Community Ambulance's Youth Corps will benefit from two fundraisers in April at local restaurants

The Nanuet Community Ambulance’s Youth Corps scheduled two fundraising events at The Dog House and Chili’s this month. Corps member Matthew Zoda said part of the money raised will help underwrite activities that promote training and team building as well as their community service projects.
The Dog House on North Middletown Road is hosting a weeklong fundraiser from Sunday, April 14 through Saturday, April 20 with 10 percent of sales going to benefit the youth corps. The Dog House is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 .m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Chili’s on Route 59 will hold a one-day fundraiser on Tuesday, April 23 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with 10 percent of the proceeds benefiting the youth corps programs. Be sure to print out the attached flyers and bring them to the restaurants.
The youth corps currently has 20 members who have certification in CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old to join as a social member and between 15 and 18 years old to ride in the ambulance. At age 18, members can move up to the senior corps.
