• The Rockland County Legislature will meet at 7 p.m. at the county office building.

Wednesday, August 7

• The Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce is holding a programming meeting at 7 p.m. at the Nanuet Library.

Thursday, August 8

• The Clarkstown Board of Education will hold a public meeting at 8 p.m. to set the tax rate. It will meet for an executive session at 6 p.m. to interview candidates for unspecified positions.
