Fundraiser For Eagle Scout Project

Nanuet Troop 33 Boy Scout Chris Barry held a car wash at the Nanuet Fire House on Saturday to raise money for his Eagle Scout project. Barry plans to add several improvements to the Outdoor Education Center including construction of a path around the pond, a patio and outdoor bulletin board where students can share information about their science projects with community members visiting the center. Barry estimated the overall cost of his project at about $2,000. 

More than 20 volunteers including Boy Scouts, family members and friends showed up to help him raise money.  Barry said he may begin work on the project this coming weekend and expects it will take four to five
