Child Care Resources of Rockland
Child Care Resources of Rockland provides programming to strengthen early learning and expand access to quality child care and education across the county. As a volunteer, you can help with administrative projects, participate in the Tales for Tots reading program or assist with outreach efforts.

Children of Promise Stable
Children of Promise Stable in Rockland County provides therapeutic riding programs for individuals with special needs. Those aged 16 and older can volunteer to assist with horse care, serve as leaders or side walkers during lessons, assist with barn upkeep or lend skills to events, fundraising and behind-the-scenes support.

Keep Rockland Beautiful
Keep Rockland Beautiful has been leading cleanup efforts and environmental education programs across Rockland County for nearly 30 years, mobilizing residents to create cleaner and greener shared spaces. In addition to the organization’s two major annual campaigns — the spring Great American Cleanup and the fall Clean Sweep for Clean Streams — you can take part in independent cleanups year-round to remove litter from streets, parks and local waterways.

Nanuet EMS
Serving the Nanuet and Clarkstown community, the Nanuet EMS welcomes new volunteers through both its Senior Corps (ages 18+) and Youth Corps (ages 14-18). Volunteers receive free training and support while helping provide essential emergency medical services to local residents, with opportunities ranging from EMT work to driving and operational support.

Nanuet Public Library
The Nanuet Public Library offers volunteer opportunities for youth and adults alike, from helping in the Children’s and Teen Departments to supporting community partners like the Friends of the Library, Literacy Solutions NY and Keep Rockland Beautiful.
