Dennis Malone announced on Thursday he was running for Clarkstown Highway Superintendent. Malone made the announcement before 100 family members and supporters at a fundraiser and campaign kickoff held at the Nanuet Restaurant in Nanuet. Joining Malone at the announcement was Rockland County Democratic Committee Chair Kristen Stavisky.
The Rockland County Democratic Committee and Clarkstown Democratic Committee will hold their nominating conventions on Thursday, May 30.
Current Highway Superintendent Wayne Ballard, who is seeking re-election, received the Clarkstown Republican Committee's nomination on May 9.
