Nanuet Opens Section Softball at Home Friday

Nanuet earned the No. 7 seed in the Section 1 Class A softball playoffs and will open the tournament at home Friday against Hendrick Hudson. 

If the Golden Knights win, they would likely play at No. 2 Ursuline, currently the top-ranked team in the state, in the quarterfinals May 28. 

Though Eastchester is No. 2 in the latest state rankings in Class A, it is the top seed in the section tournament. Tappan Zee is No. 3 and Pearl River No. 4.
