Parks & Rec And Nanuet Little League Updates

The Nanuet Civic Association meets Thursday at the Nanuet Public Library

 

Nanuet residents get the opportunity to find out what recreation programs are offered by Clarkstown and what is new with the little league when the Nanuet Civic Association holds its monthly meeting on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. at the Nanuet Public Library. 

Clarkstown Recreation & Parks Recreation Supervisor Brian “Chip” Connington will speak about the town’s variety of events and activities offered for the spring and summer. Nanuet Little League Vice President Brian Condon will give a presentation about the program.

Town Councilman George Hoehmann will talk about the status of the proposed solar power project for the former town landfill. Local legislators and representatives of the town’s police and highway departments and Nanuet Fire Departments are expected to attend. Other participants may speak about Chamber of Commerce news and town council and school board actions.

The preparations for the upcoming Nanuet Family Fun Day on June 1st will be discussed along with the need for volunteers. Nanuet Family Fun Day will take place at the Nanuet Outdoor Education Center.
