Suffern Native Becomes Eagle Scout

From Rockland Co. Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated Suffern High School student John Peter Poulos of Troop 21 on becoming an Eagle Scout at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor. His community service project benefited The Fromm-Maxwell-DeBaun American Legion Post 859 in Suffern. John installed a 4-foot tall, engraved memorial monument to honor past and present members and beautified the front and side of the building with new paint and plantings. “Congratulations to John on this admirable honor. He should be extremely proud of all his hard work and efforts,” said County Executive Day. “I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
