1 Dead, Another Shot In NYC Violence Tuesday Night: NYPD
The two incidents happened within a two-hour period in Manhattan, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A woman was stabbed to death and a man was shot in Manhattan just two hours apart on Tuesday night, police said.
At around 8 p.m, on West 33rd Street, a 33-year-old man and another man got into a verbal dispute, and he was shot in the leg, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

In the second incident, a woman was fatally stabbed outside a Chinese restaurant on West 40 Street at around 10:15 p.m, police said.
Two women were fighting outside Weng Palace when a 22-year-old woman was stabbed in the chest by the other woman, police said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim was not released pending notification, police said.
