2 Injured In Separate NYC Subway Stabbings: NYPD

NEW YORK CITY — Police are investigating two stabbings in Midtown subway stations that happened on Tuesday.

The first incident happened inside the Eighth Avenue and 42nd Street subway station on an E train platform around 11:30 p.m., police said.

A 31-year-old man was stabbed by an unknown man, police said.

The suspect then fled the scene and got on a departing A train, police said.

In the second incident, a 24-year-old man was slashed in the arm inside the Bryant Park 42nd Street station after getting into an argument, police said.
