Aaron Judge And Jalen Brunson Received Votes For Mayor: See Their Totals
The city's board of elections released the final vote count for the general election on Tuesday.

NEW YORK CITY — New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge and Knicks guard Jalen Brunson are among the most popular players in the city — and a group of New Yorkers thought they were the right choice to be the city's next mayor in November.
According to New York City's board of election certified results released on Tuesday, the Yankees outfielder had 11 write-in votes in the mayoral race and Brunson garnered 27 write in votes.
Judge's and Brunson's total votes were well short of Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's 1,036,051 votes.

Other notable write-in candidates in the mayoral race were Fran Lebowitz and Mets first baseman Pete Alonso, who both got three votes, as well as Anna Wintour, who received 2 votes.

A number of Yankees fan on social media reacted to the news, with some claiming to be one of the 11 voters.
