Bronx Prosecutors Went To Court Drunk, Had Sex In Office: Report
A crime analyst in the Bronx district attorney's office says prosecutors party too hard at work, the New York Daily News reported.

THE BRONX, NY — Rowdy prosecutors in the Bronx District Attorney's Office routinely have sex with each other and go to court drunk with impunity, an 11-year crime analyst in the office told the New York Daily News. The worker, Crystal Rivera, made the allegations in a $15 million notice of claim announcing her plans to sue the office for barring her from contacting a cop she was dating, the paper reported.
Assistant district attorneys would have weekly parties in the office, including some replete with sex between married prosecutors and officers, Rivera reportedly said. Staffers would also keep liquor and other booze in their desks, she told the Daily News.
"It's just ridiculous that we have to sit and condone this just because we are staff members and they are prosecutors," Rivera told the paper. "Who do we talk to when our superiors are the ones doing this?"

Rivera is facing discipline from the DA's office for keeping up a relationship with NYPD Officer David Terrell, who was accused of threatening a victim into fingering Pedro Hernandez for a 2015 shooting, the Daily News reported. Hernandez was exonerated last year.
The Bronx DA's office did not respond to the Daily News' requests for comment on Rivera's allegations.
