Bronx Shooting Leaves 3 Dead, Police Say

A woman and two men were shot and killed Thursday morning.

THE BRONX, NY — Three people were shot and killed Thursday morning near a public housing project in The Bronx, police said. The shooting by an unidentified person at the corner of Castle Hill and Randall avenues was reported to cops around 9:45 a.m., the NYPD said.

The victims — two men and a woman — were taken from the intersection near the Castle Hill Houses complex to Jacobi Hospital where they were pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

A verbal dispute apparently sparked the shooting, a police spokeswoman said. The NYPD did not immediately have a description of the suspect.
