Comic Con, Oktoberfest, Harvest Festival| Manhattan This Weekend
Looking for something to do this weekend? Here's some of the most interesting events Manhattan has to offer.

NEW YORK, NY — No matter what you're looking for this weekend, Manhattan has something to offer. Highlights include the United States' largest pop culture convention, an Oktoberfest celebration on the Hudson River waterfront and a Japanese cooking competition.

Neighborhood: Hudson Yards
What: Hundreds of thousands of superfans, gamers, cosplayers and comic book lovers will descended on New York City this week for New York Comic Con. Some of this year's guests include Bill Nye, Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Rodriguez of the "Fast and Furious" franchise, "Lord of the Rings" Director Peter Jackson and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" stars Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain.

Where:Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on West 34th Street between 11th and 12th avenues.
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Beppo the Clown in Central Park
Neighborhood: Central Park
What: Here's one for families (who aren't terrified of clowns). A production of Beppo the Clown will be performed in the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre in Central Park this weekend. The story follows a shy clown who leaves the circus to discover bravery.
Where: Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre (enter Central Park near Central Park West and West 77th Streets).
When: Oct. 4-7 from 6-7 p.m.
Neighborhood: Harlem
What: More than 50 Harlem artists and produce vendors are signed on for this year's Harlem Harvest Fest to kick off the first weekend of October. Festival goers will be treated to samples from local vendors whose products can be found in stores such as Whole Foods Market, Bloomingdale's, Fairway and Fresh Direct, festival organizers said.
Where: St. Nicholas Avenue between West 117th and 118th streets.
When: Saturday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Konamon Festival (Japanese Cooking Contest)
Neighborhood: Upper West Side/East Village
What: The New York City Japan Fes. is hosting a two-day event to showcase the Japanese cooking style known as Konamon. Four vendors from Japan and four vendors from New York will prepare foods in the style, which involves "flour style of cooking an array of food like Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, and Yaki-soba," according to organizers.
Where: Broadway and West 115th Street (UWS) and Fourth Avenue and East 10th Street (E. Village)
When: Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (UWS) Sunday, Oct. 7 from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (E. Village)
What: Celebrate OktoberFest at the Watermark — a sprawling 3,500-square-foot-venue at Pier 15 in lower Manhattan. The bar will be serving up authentic German beer and giant pretzels. Different ticket packages can be purchased depending on how much alcohol you are trying to consume.
Where: 78 South Street near Pier 15
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m.- 12 a.m.
