NEW YORK CITY — Police have identified a woman found dead in a trash bag on a New York City sidewalk, and a van struck two men in Brooklyn, killing one.

Woman Found Dead In Trash Bag On Harlem Sidewalk Identified

A woman found dead in a trash bag on a sidewalk in East Harlem on Monday has been identified, police said on Thursday.

The woman was found near East 124th Street and Park Avenue. The cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

NYPD Cop Dies In Colombia A Week After Butt Lift Surgery

An NYPD detective died after undergoing multiple plastic surgery procedures in Colombia last week, according to reports.

The 13-year NYPD veteran, was found unresponsive in her hotel room was taken to a hospital in Cali, Colombia, where she was later pronounced dead.

The detective had been recovering at the hotel after the surgeries.

Deadly Van Crash In Brooklyn Kills One, Injures Another

A man was killed, and another person was injured after being struck by a van in Brooklyn Wednesday night.

An 84-year-old man fatally was struck by a Ford Transit 250 at 4819 18th Ave. around 6:30 p.m., police said.

2 Men Injured In Attacks On NYC Subway, Police Say

Police are investigating two separate attacks that left two men injured in the New York City subway system this week.

The incidents happened in Queens and Manhattan. In one attack, a suspect used a metal pole, according to police.
