'Dominican Women Are Hot,' Medic Told Assault Victim: Complaint

The Bronx paramedic allegedly degraded the woman he groped and orally raped in an ambulance, according to a criminal complaint.

THE BRONX, NY — A Bronx paramedic degraded the woman he allegedly groped and orally raped in an ambulance last weekend, according to court papers. "Dominican women are hot," Karel Delgado told the woman, 43, on Saturday as he grabbed her breasts and vagina and forced his penis into her mouth on the way to a hospital, a criminal complaint filed Monday says.

"You have such a big p---y you must be able to take it hard," Delgado said, according to the complaint. "Dominican women love men with big penises like me."

"This will be over quick," he allegedly added.

Delgado is accused of molesting the woman around noon Saturday after she called an ambulance complaining of possible pneumonia, the NYPD has said.

The woman told an NYPD detective that Delgado pulled her onto the floor of the ambulance, grabbed her hair and pushed her head toward his penis, then forced it into her mouth, the criminal complaint says.

He also touched her vagina and grabbed her breasts without consent, the complaint says.

Delgado was arrested Monday and charged with criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, sexual misconduct, official misconduct and forcible touching, online court records show. He's next due in court April 13.

Delgado is not charged with rape, which is defined exclusively in state law as nonconensual vaginal intercourse. Forced oral sex qualifies as a first-degree criminal sexual act, a class B felony, and as serious a crime as rape.

Online records show Delgado has a private attorney, but contact information for the attorney was not immediately available.
