Duo Steals $100K Watch From Man Outside Carbone In NYC: Police

NEW YORK CITY — Two men stole a $100,000 watch from a man at gunpoint, outside the trendy Manhattan restaurant Carbone Tuesday night, police said.

At around 8:45 p.m., the men approached a 39-year-old man outside the restaurant located at 181 Thompson Street and pressed a gun to the man's chest and demanded to give up his Philippe watch off his wrist, police said.

The duo then took off on a moped traveling north on Thompson Street, police said.

A description of the thieves was not readily available Thursday afternoon.

There have been no arrests and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
