It's a welcome return to somewhat-normal dining after months of takeout only and cooking from home.
The map shows New Yorkers what outdoor dining options — tables on sidewalks, parking lanes or both, as well as whether they serve alcohol.— are available. So someone looking to dine at, say, I Love Paraguay in Sunnyside will find it's not only open, but also offers sidewalk seating and alcohol service.

Manhattan — surprise, surprise — has the most open restaurants of the five boroughs with about 2,800, followed by Brooklyn's 1,500, according to the map.
Most restaurants citywide offer alcohol service — 4,327 at last count.
The map also shows a variety of different seating arrangements — 3,101 restaurants offer both sidewalk and roadway tables, 2,159 have sidewalk only seats and 508 plunked their seats in the road.
Next week, some restaurants will get the chance to venture further into the streets.
Applications will open Monday for business improvement districts and merchant associations to set up seating on roadways that have been closed to traffic under the city's Open Streets program.
