NEW YORK CITY — Former NBA player Ben Gordon was arrested at LaGuardia Airport after authorities said he hit his 10-year-old son, according to reports.

The incident unfolded Monday while Gordon awaited a flight to Chicago, where he once played for the Bulls, the New York Post reported.

Details were still scant Tuesday, but Port Authority cops apparently stopped Gordon from getting on the plane and handcuffed him over accusations he hit the boy, the Post reported.
