John Mayer Announces Madison Square Garden Dates

NEW YORK, NY — John Mayer has announced new solo tour dates nationwide. The singer and guitarist will play 27 shows throughout North America, including two nights at Madison Squre Garden

The solo jaunt follows his tour with the band Dead & Company, which runs from May 31 to July 6.

Mayer's solo tour will hit major American cities including Providence, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., New York, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Columbus, St. Paul, Milwaukee, Nashville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Chicago, Kansas City, St. Louis, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and San Diego.

He will be in NYC on July 25 and 26.

Mayer’s hits over the years include “No Such Thing,” “Your Body is a Wonderland,” “Waiting on the World to Change,” and “Daughters.” He won multiple Grammy awards in the 2000s and was nominated as recently as 2012.

In announcing the news of the tour, Mayer wrote in a Facebook post: “I’m too excited to write this caption gracefully. All these songs. This big beautiful band. Your smiling faces. Our looking into our own lives and singing along to it. THE AIR CONDITIONING. Can’t wait to see you.”
