July 4 Fireworks East River Cruise Offers Front Row View
NY Waterway is offering fireworks viewing from the middle of the East River.

NEW YORK, NY – This really is center of the July 4 action. As 60,000 explosives mark the nation's biggest independence party, NY waterway is offering the chance to view it from the middle of the East River.
As tens of thousands line the river's banks and many more seek out intimate venues, NY Waterway is taking viewers right into the center of the action.
The company's Fireworks Cruise sets sail from Weehawken, New Jersey, at 6:45 p.m. and 7 p.m., steaming to a point on the East River where it will anchor. "So close, it will seem like you could reach out and touch the more than 56,000 firework shells as they light up the sky over NYC," the company says in its promotional material.

Connections between the West 39th Street ferry terminal in Manhattan and Weehawken are available.
Tickets are $140 for adults, $130 for seniors and $100 for children 4 to 12 years old. Parking is available at Port Imperial for $10 after 4 p.m.

The Fireworks Cruise will feature a DJ with live, synchronized music presentations and a cash bar, the company said.
