Junior League Of Worcester Hosts 80s Themed Fundraiser
JLW will be hosting an 80s themed fundraiser called 'Totally Tubular' to bring awareness to physical fitness with three exercise classes.

From JLW: The Junior League of Worcester (JLW) will host an 80s themed Totally Tubular Workout Bonanza as its Spring fundraiser. Taking place at the Worcester Technical High School, this event will feature 3 separate exercise classes over the course of 3 hours (9:00AM – 12:00PM).
“It is important to show our community members that there are creative and fun ways to fit physical fitness into their lifestyles,” explained Catherine Choquette, the JLW’s Communications Director. She continued, “These healthy initiatives lead to better physical and mental health, and the group setting helps to bring members of our community together.”
The morning will begin with a belly dancing class led by Beth Peterson from Escape Aerial Arts, followed by a Body Attack hour led by Pete Chunis from Les Mills and close out with a yoga practice, also led by Peterson. The ticket price for one session is $20, or attend all 3 for $35. The JLW can’t promise a summer beach bod, but promise to provide healthy breakfast snacks, a fun 80s themed gift pack and an awesome good time. Leg warmers and headbands are strongly encouraged. People are invited to attend and get moving and help support the JLW’s work to improve the Worcester community.

“Without these fundraisers, we would not be able to continue reaching out to the Worcester community through our programming and training,” stated JLW President Rebecca Robinson.
With a focus on developing self-sufficiency, the organization is continuing its mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve the Worcester community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers by offering a series of free programs in the community. These programs include:
