Kars 4 Kids Stars Were Bullied For Infuriating Jingle, Report Says
The New York Post caught up with the stars of the infamous commercial.
NEW YORK, NY – The young stars of one of the catchiest advertising jingles ever made were bullied by classmates who probably couldn't get the Kars 4 Kids tune out of their heads.
The New York Post caught up with the now teenage actors who made up the band for the charity ad – and found life wasn't always easy for them. (For more New York City stories, subscribe to Patch for daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
Colin Crest, who played the lead singer, said classmates picked on him because he wore makeup on screen during the 2014 production. “At the end of the day, I’m the one who’s on TV,” he said.

And Chloe Fatuova, the commercial's drummer, said she and other cast members were bullied online.
“I have read the YouTube comments before was some like, ‘Oh these kids are so cute,’ but then there was like, ‘these kids should go kill themselves,'” she told the Post.

Almost as bad, the catchy ditty is as ingrained in their memories as it is for infuriated viewers.
“You can’t forget it,” said Crest. “It is always stuck in my head on repeat 24/7.”
Comedian John Oliver once said that Kars 4 Kids was the only charity that “inspires more visceral anger” than the Clinton Foundation, the Post said.
