Mother's Day Brunch In NYC: Find A Meal To Celebrate Mom

NEW YORK, NY — Flowers and gifts are nice, but a great meal is an integral part of every Mother's Day. Breakfast in bed is always a good option, but since the annual celebration of moms always falls on a Sunday, it's tailor-made for brunch.

Plenty of restaurants in brunch-loving New York City will be ready to serve your mom — or anyone, really — a special midday meal on May 13.

This eatery on the roof of the Sanctuary Hotel will serve a $39 three-course Mother's Day prix fixe meal featuring dishes such as tuna tartare, lobster rolls and creme brulee. The meal comes with a glass of prosecco and music by a live jazz band.

The new Cajun and Southern restaurant will put on a jazz brunch show from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with $12.50 frittatas and performances by Craig Crawford — plus bottomless "MOMosas" with every meal.

This elegant eatery at Lincoln Center will offer a $45 two-course prix fixe with endless Bellinis and dishes like brioche French toast, wild mushroom risotto and crab cakes with mustard beurre blanc.

The Palm House at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

The Patina Restaurant Group will host a special brunch and dinner inside the glass-walled Palm House on the grounds of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The $69 ticket gets you a buffet, admission to the garden, music from a live jazz quartet and a gift for each mom.
