National Pretzel Day is April 26 and it's the perfect time to celebrate the salty bread snacks – either with a beer at a bar, from a New York City bakery or a street cart.

A twist on the famously twisted snack: The City Bakery serves the Pretzel Croissant.

Traditional German pretzels are made in-house at this Brooklyn restaurant and are "off-the-charts delicious," according to CityGuideNY.

CityGuideNY says you can "practically fit your entire head through" this restaurant's Giant Bavarian Pretzel, which cost $8.99.
