New NYC Social App Shows Where The In Crowd Goes

Localized venue app Postcard uses real-time data to answer the age-old question: What should we do tonight?

NEW YORK, NY — Now you can be in with the in crowd.

A new app creates a live heat map that pulls from social media to shot the hottest NYC spots – from bars and nightclubs to concert halls.

Postcard, a free app, differs from other localized apps such as Foursquare and doNYC because it uses real time information to deliver a live photo stream for users to see what the venue is like in the moment, its founders said.
