NEW YORK CITY — It's primary election day at last and the polls in New York City closed at 9 p.m., so all that's left is the counting.
Votes are being tallied up for the City Council District 2 race between Sarah Batchu, Andrea Gordillo, Anthony Weiner, Harvey Epstein and Allie Ryan.

District 2 includes Greenwich Village, Lower East Side, East Village, Midtown South-Flatiron-Union Square, Gramercy and Murray Hill-Kips Bay.
More than 830,875 New Yorkers had checked in to vote by 6 p.m. Tuesday, including mail-in ballots, according to New York City's Board of Elections.

Polls closed at 9 p.m. With 96 percent of votes counted. Here are the real-time unofficial results for City Council District 2.
- Sarah Batchu – 5596 votes (21.25%)
- Andrea Gordillo – 5566 votes (21.13%)
- Anthony Weiner - 2724 votes (10.34%)
- Harvey Epstein - 10279 votes (39.03%)
- Allie Ryan - 2057 votes (7.81%)
Once all the votes are tallied by the New York City Board of Elections, the official final totals will be announced. This article will be updated as results continue to come in.
