Mamdani On Track To Win Democratic Mayoral Primary: Live Results

UPDATE: Andrew Cuomo has conceded the primary.

"Tonight was not our night," the former governor told his supporters Tuesday night. "Tonight was [Mamdani's] night.

Cuomo has already called Mamdani to congratulate him, according to reports.

NEW YORK CITY — It's primary election day at last and the polls in New York City closed at 9 p.m., so all that's left is the counting.

Votes are being tallied up in the Democratic primary for mayor. 11 candidates are vying for the Democratic nomination.

More than 830,875 New Yorkers had checked in to vote by 6 p.m. Tuesday, including mail-in ballots, according to New York City's Board of Elections.

Zohran Mamdani - 426780 votes (43.5%)

Andrew Cuomo - 356547 votes (36.3%)

Zellnor Myrie - 9728 votes (0.99 %)

Brad Lander - 111493 votes (11.37 %)

Adrienne E. Adams - 40434 votes (4.12 %)

Jessica Ramos - 3799 votes (0.40%)

Selma Bartholomew - 1302 votes (0.13%)

Scott Stringer - 16234 votes (1.67%)

Whitney Tilson - 7744 votes (0.79%)

Michael Blake - 3930 votes (0.40%)

Paperboy Love Prince - 1401 votes (0.14%)
