NYC Is A Horrible Place To Find A Job: Study

Out of 182 cities in a new "Best Places To Find A Job" study, New York City ranked 147th. And it gets worse.

NEW YORK CITY — New York, New York — if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere.

The city ranked dead last in affordable housing, 180th in average work and commute time, 178th in median annual income and 177th in job opportunities.

So, what cities were the best?

San Francisco, despite being the nation's second-most expensive rental city behind the Big Apple, grabbed the number one spot in the study.

Columbia, Maryland, snared the second spot, while Orlando, Florida, San Jose, California, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, rounded out the top five.

The overall worst place to find a job was Memphis, Tennessee, at least according to the study.
