NEW YORK CITY — These prices cannot be beat! There are none.

The New York Public Library released this Black Friday its tongue-in-lion's cheek ad campaign marketing the deal of the day for "an unlimited time only!": free books.

The fifth annual NYPL spoof ads give a hat tip to 90s television commercials that will likely leave millennials upward New Yorkers cackling and the Gen Zers mildly confused. (Tip: We used to have very silly ads, unlike today!)

"Have you been personally victimized by boredom?" one attorney ad demands to know. Another makes the unique promise, "But Wait…There's More!"
