Will you have to adjust your plans for the upcoming three-day Memorial Day Weekend? Here's the full forecast.

NEW YORK CITY — Good news for New York City residents traveling for the long Memorial Day weekend: much less rain is in the cards for the days ahead, forecasters said.

Friday’s forecast will kick off the weekend with high-80s temperatures and sunny skies, the National Weather Service said. Saturday will be slightly cooler with low-80s temperatures, mostly sunny skies and 5 to 10 mph winds; Sunday will see similar summer-like temperatures with partly sunny skies and light winds.

Despite the dry weekend forecast, Monday will still see a chance of showers throughout the day, with some storms capable of producing heavy rainfall, the National Weather Service said. Travel delays, flooding, downpours and hail are possible, as well as localized damaging wind gusts between 55 and 65 mph, AccuWeather noted.
