NYC Nor'easter: Latest Forecast As Third Storm Nears
The storm is bringing more snow, though the worst of it is expected to be offshore.

NEW YORK, NY – The third nor'easter in 10 days is nearing New York City, threatening to bring with it up to five inches of snow even as the worst of the bad weather is expected to be pushed offshore, forecasters said.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Monday night into Tuesday.
AccuWeather forecasters said the worst of the storm's winds look to be tracking off the coast and shouldn't hit the city with full force. But gusts will still be felt.

"Even if the storm tracks far enough offshore, a little snow may still spread over Washington, D.C., on Monday afternoon and Philadelphia and New York City by Monday night," an AccuWeather spokesman said.
"A track closer to the coast would bring more snow and mounting travel disruptions for the Tuesday morning commute to this section of the I-95 corridor."

The city and northeast region is still recovering for two nor'easters that hit in less than a week, with heavy snow causing major travel problems.
