NYC Pre-K Offers Released To Parents
Parents can now see where their 4-year-olds will attend pre-school in the fall.

NEW YORK, NY — The wait is over: New York City parents can finally see where their 4-year-olds will attend pre-kindergarten classes this fall. The Department of Education has released initial offers to parents who applied for the free city-run programs.
Parents should log in to their accounts on the DOE's online application system to access their offer letters, according to a DOE email sent to parents Thursday night.
To accept an offer, families must bring their kids to register in person with the letter, proof of the kid's age and two proof-of-address documents. The deadline to register is June 6.

Kids can still get into programs for which they were put on a waiting list even if they accept the initial offer, the DOE's email said. Parents will be able to choose which program their kids will attend in that case.
If you have a 3-year-old, applications are due Friday for the city's expanding "3K For All" program. Those classes are available in Harlem, East Harlem, the South Bronx, Bedford-Stuyvesant, East New York, Brownsville, Ocean Hill, Broad Channel, Ozone Park, Howard Beach and the Rockaways.
