NEW YORK, NY – The fourth nor-easter in less than three weeks threatens to be the biggest. Latest forecasts warn that New York City could be hit with as much as 15 inches of snow in a storm that could last more than 24 hours.
Winter-weary New Yorkers have been battered through March, and the city is already redeploying 693 salt spreaders and has 1,600 plows ready to go as soon as more than two inches of snow accumulates.
The National Weather Service predicts rain and snow would start around 11 p.m. Tuesday, turning to heavy snow around 7 a.m. Wednesday. it will continue until midnight, the service says.
