NYC Subway Delays: 5 Lines Roiled During Wet Rush Hour
Some commutes got messed up on a wet Thursday evening.

NEW YORK — Commuters crowded subway platforms on a wet Thursday evening as delays hit five subway lines. N and Q trains were roiled by a train’s brakes being triggered at Times Square, while a passenger needing medical assistance at Astor Place caused congestion on the 4, 5 and 6 lines, the MTA said.
The N/Q platform at Union Square grew so crowded that straphangers had to wait to climb the steps. The humid Jay Street-MetroTech station was also teeming with riders, commuter Candace Floyd tweeted.
The problems came amid rainfall that soaked the city and drenched some stations. A waterfall showered a Rockefeller Center platform, while a puddle was seen at the recently renovated 72nd Street stop in Manhattan, Twitter posts show.
