Chilly weather and potential snow showers likely will linger over New York City on Thanksgiving itself, AccuWeather reported. Post-Thanksgiving holiday travelers could have to contend with a significant precipitation starting Friday next week, although forecasters are still unsure if storm conditions will come together, according to AccuWeather.

“Regardless, travelers should plan in advance for the potential of flight delays or cancellations at major airports, including Chicago-O'Hare, Atlanta-Hartsfield and the airports in the New York City tri-state area,” an AccuWeather report states.
